Korean Language Component of Korean Studies Programme
Korean Studies Programme runs several courses of Korean language for all undergraduate students with different levels of proficiency. All the students majoring Korean Studies are required to acquire higher level of proficiency in both Korean and English languages. In order to enhance the Korean language proficiency, Korean Studies Programme assigns all students majoring Korean Studies to Korean Language Class run by Faculty of Language. Students receive at least 6 hours of Korean language class per week. The Korean Studies Programme is planning to have a first Korean Language Proficiency Test in 2004.
